Just my Memories and thoughts.

A great place of learning in leith

Time spent there skiving from school and keeping warm.

Not many other places to go.

Where did you go?

What's the inside like nowadays?

my first memory of a pub

Just round the corner from East Thomas Street. Remember the fish merchant every week with his barrow full of cockles, mussels, welks and other sea food.

Still drop in for a pint on match days now. See you soon.

Ahh my old alma mater...sere it did teach me some things. Late 60's to early 70's although most of that time was spent trying to avoid going to school.  The teachers were just as bad, but there were a few good ones. Mr Moncrief was mine. Who was your fav?

born a hibee, die a hibee

Lived in Easter Road, played football in Norton Park and sometimes in the ground at night. Worked there as an apprentice electrician for a few years and was lucky to meet many of the Greats over breakfast and lunch. God bless them all...GGTTH
